It’s the first day of sneak peeks for Honey Bee Stamp’s holiday 2021 release called, “Vintage Holiday.” This release will go live on Thursday, October 14. Today, I’m sharing the following new products from the release (Links will work October 14, when the release goes live.)

Fancy Flakes Cover Plate Die

Pierced Fancy Flakes Cover Plate Die

Peace stamp set and coordinating die set

Vintage Holiday 6″ X 6″ paper pad

This card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope.

To make this card, I used by Blending Brushes to add Spun Sugar and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and then ran the paper through my die cutting machine to (1) pierce it using the Pierced Fancy Flakes Cover Plate Die and then (2) to cut the snowflakes out using the Fancy Flakes Cover Plate Die, lining the second coverplate up to match the first one. I attached the cutout to a light aqua cardstock and trimmed it down to be 5″ wide X 4-1/4″ long (turning it on its side, only the width is trimmed).

The honey cut word, “Peace” was cut from

  • peace script top layer = aqua glitter cardstock
  • peace shadow layer = 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock
  • peace pierced shadow layer = vellum paper

The layers were stacked and glued together using Bee Creative Precision Tip glue. The entire word was attached to the front of the snowflakes section using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white. To complete this section, I added Pearl Pen in Aqua Glitter (similar to Nuvo Drops) to the centers and areas of the snowflakes.

To complete the card, I added pattern paper in two tones of pink to the top and bottom of the 5″ X 7″ card base and then added the snowflake/peace layer over them to unite the card. The phrase “on earth” was tucked under and glued under the peace word. Glitter strips in light aqua were added at the top and bottom of the top, middle and bottom sections of the card to complete the look.
