Hello Honey Bee Friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a couple of fun Halloween tricks up my sleeve. Well, it’s maybe not so much a trick, but a treat instead! I’ve mixed some new products from the latest release along with a few older sets for this card and tag. These two could be used together for a coordinated gift combination or separately.

Boos For You Card

For this 5″ X 7″ greeting card, I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Boo stamp set and coordinating die set

The name is Jack stamp set and coordinating die set

Raise A Glass stamp set and coordinating die set

Faboolous Sentiments stamp set

Bitty Buzzwords: Fall stamp set

Trick or Treat stamp set

I stamped the glasses and colored them in using the following Copics:

  • Greens: YG67, YG03, YG01, YG00
  • Oranges: YR27, YR23, YR21, YR00,
  • Purples: V19, V09, V04, V12

I also stamped little bats on the black 5″ X 7″ front panel using Hero Hues Unicorn White ink. A 3/4″ strip of Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock was stamped with “Happy Halloween” using Bee Creative Black Intense Ink and adhered to the bottom of the panel. I also added little drops of purple Pearl Pen on each side of the phrase.

I die cut the colored drinks, the “boo” buzzword, and the ghosts. I stamped the faces on the ghosts with the Intense Ink. I also stamped the “s” from the Boo stamp set and punched it out using a 1/2″ circle punch. The “for you” is from the Bitty Buzzwords: Fall stamp set. I stamped the phrase and cut it down to a  1/2″ strip of cardstock. All the elements were adhered to the front panel using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue. The middle glass and ghost and the “boo” word were popped up for dimension using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares.

You’ve Been Boozed Bottle Tag

For the “You’ve Been Boozed” bottle tag, I used many of the same Honey Bee Stamps products that were used for the card including:

Boo stamp set and coordinating die set

The name is Jack stamp set and coordinating die set

Slimline Sentiments Stitched die set

Sweet Stacks Circles die set (for the 2″ circle tag opening)

Bee Bold lowercase alphabet letter die set

Halloween Harvest Paper 6″ X 6″ Pad

Faboolous Sentiments stamp set

Santa Express stamp set (for the “you’ve been” phrase, only)

I used the Slimline Sentiments Stitched die for the base of the tag and then cut a circular opening using the 2″ circle from the Sweet Stacks Circles die set. I scored 3″ in from the top edge so that the tag would rest on the bottle front (see photo below).  Next I added the adorable ghost pattern paper from the Halloween Harvest Paper 6″ X 6″ Pad, cutting out the ghosts on the top row.

I die cut a ghost and stamped a face on it and attached to the ghost paper using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares. I die cut the “boo” word out of two shades of purple and black cardstock and stacked them, offsetting each layer to show all three colors. I did the same for the “zed” letters  (I cut my own dash) and attached them all under the ghost. The “you’ve been” phrase was stamped in Versamark ink on black cardstock, heat embossed in white embossing powder, fussy cut out and attached to the tag above “boo.”

Lastly, I heat embossed two phrases from the Faboolous Sentiments stamp set to the back side. Small white dots using a Gelly Roll white gel pen were added to finish the card.

Here’s a look at the two projects together. I didn’t have a very good bottle to showcase the tag so imagine the card on a really cool, spooky Halloween bottle!  You can shop all of these Honey Bee Stamps products here.
