I’m using the following new Honey Bee Stamps Vintage Love products for this inspiration card:

Blooming View stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies.

Love Heart Layering Frames Honey Cuts dies

Vintage Flourish Background Stencil

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I used a very light warm gray ink by Altenew, my Honey Bee Background Blender Brushes and the Vintage Flourish Background Stencil to create the delicate, almost lacy design on Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock. This stencil is very delicate so I pounced the design using my brush and used a circular motion, lightly on my 5″  X 7″ card front panel. I stamped, die cut and colored all the floral sprays.  I used a mix of blue-violets and blues to color the florals. The leafy greens were colored using YG67, YG25, YG17, YG63, and YG03.

The window was stamped on a warm gray cardstock color and cut using the coordinating die. I LOVE this window. It is so beautiful for so many uses. This is one of those sets where you just have to have the coordinating dies so that the inside of the window is cut for you.  I added a sky background to the window to look as if you are viewing the heavens above or the just the sky… whatever you prefer to see out this window.

To complete the card, I attached all the elements, adding a beautiful and delicate lavender heart made from cardstock and the Love Heart Layering Frames Honey Cuts dies. This is a great set used together alone. Here, I just used the beautiful heart. I added a few gem stickers to the heart using gems from the Vintage Love Gem Sticker package. I added a few dark purple random dots around the florals, almost like gyposophila around the florals. It just softens the edges a bit for this sympathy card. I added the sentiment at the bottom to complete the front of the card.

Inside the card, I used a verse from the Honey Bee set, Inside Sentiments: Comfort. Sometimes it is hard to find the right thing to say inside a sympathy card, so this card does the thinking for you. I love this one and use it often for my sympathy cards. Notice, I also stenciled a few of the flourishes on inside using the same warm gray and letting them fade in and out around the edges. I think this adds a very soft feeling inside, too.
