Hello friends. Today, I’m guest designing for Sweet November Stamps. This is a new company for me and I was delighted to be asked to participate in this month’s release. Today, the Sweet November Stamps is celebrating its new release with a hop on Instagram.

Sweet November Stamps is offering one person a chance to win the entire holiday release. The release is filled with so many cute stamps (you can see in the photo to the left.) All you have to do is visit each designer’s account listed in the Insta-hop, follow each designer, and leave a comment on each SN post. You have Saturday and Sunday, November 13th and 14th to participate in the hop. The morning of Monday, November 15, SNS will announce the random winner on the Sweet November Instagram page.
Not only do you have a chance to win, but you’ll receive lots of inspiration along the way on the hop! You can start on my page here >> Bobbi’s Instagram page. I’m sharing a card featuring the following new release products by Sweet November Stamps:

My card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything (except for the candy cane wallpaper) was stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. Here’s the details. Make sure to see it through…this card has just as much to say and look at on the inside as it does on the outside!

Sending Christmas Cheer Holiday Greeting

Card Front Panel

To create the front card panel, I stamped the Horizon Line: Alpine landscape images on my 5″ X 7″ panel including the mountainous background and evergreen hill. I also stamped the barn image on a separate sheet and fussy cut it out. The barn was colored as well as the background and added to the scene on the background snow-covered evergreen hill. This bright, red barn is home to the X-Mas X-Press Company. 🙂 Do you see the shipping boxes stacked inside?!

From the X-Mas X-Press stamp set, I stamped, colored and fussy cut out all the elf helper images. I colored all the helpers in green jeans, red shirts and a green cap, the “official X-Press employee uniform.” All employees must show up to work in the proper attire. Two of the helpers are positioned on the card front in the foreground area. I attached the two helpers using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make them stand out a bit. To make sure a passerby didn’t miss the barn, I added a company sign to the front. I used a box side and turned it into a wood sign. To complete the front, I added snow by splattering white Dr. PH Marten’s Bleed-proof white paint on the front.

Interior Panel

Inside, a view of the interior of the barn is shown. With snow falling outside and candy cane wallpaper surrounding the perimeter, these elf helpers are busy tackling the holiday shipping rush. Boy, are there a lot of nice boys and girls out there! The candy canes were stamped using Love Letter Memento red ink. I masked the corners, windows and trim pieces and stamped the canes in a random pattern. The candy cane stamp is from the set, Santa Claus is Coming to Town stamp set.

There’s lots of activity going on inside the X-Mas X-Press. Holiday Packages are being packed, taped and transferred to the the shipping dock to go out to all the boys and girls on the “nice” list. Some are even in candy cane striped boxes. 🙂

For this card, I’m using the following Copic colors:

  • Greens (uniform and trees): YG67, YG^3, YG61, YG03
  • Reds (barn and uniform): R89, R29, R17, R14
  • Tans (faces and hands): E000, E00, E04, E11, E21
  • Purples (mountains and snow shadows): BV000, BV000, BV00
  • Grays (mountains, snow shadows, interior floor): C5, C3, C2, C1
  • Browns (boxes): E57, E55, E44, E43, E42

I needed to find a spot for a person to add a note and sign this this card so I stamped “Sending Christmas Cheer” from the X-Mas X-Press stamp set on the inside of the card front panel.

I also added a faux wood company sign right above the phrase for fun. I used a portion of a box to do this. I had made the sign earlier, but couldn’t find a wall inside to hang it! This seemed like a good place to hang the sign.

Well that’s the tour of the X-Mas X-Press Company. I hope you had fun and are inspired to make cards and wrap up a gift or two! If you decide to place an order, please use the links in this post so that the companies know what inspired you. I appreciate it very much. It helps me to continue to bring more ideas to you!
