Hello crafty friends! Jane’s Doodles has a three new products to help you express and spread more love in the world! How great is that?! The new sets are called Love is in the Air and Love You stamp sets. There’s also a new stencil called, Hearts Stencil. I’m using all three new products on my cards today. Jane, along with the entire design team is celebrating the new products with a blog hop today! There’s loads of inspiration! In addition, there’s a sale and giveaway, too. 🙂 Details…
Love Is In the Air Slimline Card
I stamped and colored the airplane, three birds and the dog duo to ride in the plane on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I fussy cut the images and attached them to the front. I used Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to attach the airplane to make it stand out a bit. I used a fine-tip black marker to draw strings from the back of the plane.
I attached pink punched out hearts to the drawn lines to make it look like the heart banners are flying off the back of the airplane. I used R29, R24, and R20 to shade around the edges of the hearts. Three birds were added to the plane and sky. I added one heart in the bird’s beak, too. Lastly, I stamped the phrase, “Love is in the Air” on the card front.
Love You To Bits Card
Here’s a super quick card if you don’t like all the fuss of coloring. For my second card, I added the same colors of blue to the background of a 5″ X 7″ card and then stenciled on some hearts in the lower half section using Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries Distressed Oxide Ink. I added some shadowing to to the right of each one using a Copic Sketch Marker in B00 for dimension. I kept the top half of the card front white and clean.
I stamped the phrase, “Love you to bits” from the set, Love You and then stamped the cute bunnies with hearts above them from the set, Love is in the Air. Simple coloring (E53, E50, E71, E70, and R20 colors used) and sequin bits glued on the top of the front, half finishes this sweet card.
