Hi friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here sharing a floral card with a sweet window design card. With the peek-through window design, these lovely layered tulips are the star inside and out! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Get Well Soon stamp set and coordinating die set
Double Stitched Circles die set
The featured project below was made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panels. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card measures 5″ X 7″.
To make this card, I die cut the circle out of two 5″ X 7″ pieces of white cardstock. I die cut them together so that they match perfectly when I stack them together. These two pieces sandwich a 1″ hinge from the back panel. The back panel is cut 8″ tall X 5″ wide and scored 1″ down from the top to create the hinge. I attached the two window panels on both sides of the hinge and glued it together. For the inside panel, I die cut the spring leaves using the cover plate. This design is an A2 size and was glued in place, making sure the entire window reveals the leaves design.
To create the tulips, I die cut the layers from a red cardstock and added some definition using darker shades of red Copic markers. I glued the layers together using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. I made the bud, and both flowers along with the stems and leaves. The largest blossom and stem /leaves were attached to the card front.
Inside the card, I added the two flowers and stems, positioning them so that they showed through the window. I also stamped and die cut the phrase from the Get Well Soon stamp set and coordinating die set.
This card is as pretty on the inside as on the outside with these bold tulips!
