My card for the hop features the following stamp sets:
To make this card, I started by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean on a 5″ X 7″ card front panel cut from Neenah 80lb cardstock. I splattered water on the ink and lifted color using a paper towel. I stamped and colored the airplane, snail, two sets of tree borders, a cupcake and the two turtle images using the following Copic Markers:
- Airplane and cupcake: Y38, Y19, YR27, YR24, R29
- Turtles: YG67, YG17, YG03, R29, R24, R17, Y19
- Party hat: R29, R17, Y19
- Snail: E57, E55, E43, YR27, YR24
- Trees: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00, E57, E55
Multiple layers of trees were added to the bottom area, leaving room for the stamped phrase below them. On one of the turtles, I hand drew a skydiving harness and colored it in red. I added natural twine string and suspended the skydiver from the airplane. I cut off the other turtles body and added the head to the airplane. Both the airplane and the skydiver were attached to the card using dimensional foam tabs to make them stand out. I added the cupcake to the hands of the skydiver.
Inside the card base, I stamped the phrase and snail to finish the card. I don’t color inside images because the color bleed wilI show through on the other side. I like it black and white, too!
