Today I’m participating in a Simon Says Stamp release Instagram hop! We’re featuring the new Cozy Hugs release. To start from the beginning of the hop, head to @simonsaysstamp on Instagram or me, @BobbiHartDesign.

There’s a GIVEAWAY! Leave a comment at each stop ON INSTAGRAM for a chance to win a $25 gift card for the Simon Says Stamp store. Winners will be chosen randomly from the comments left on each hopper’s post. All winners will be announced on Simon’s Instagram feed on Monday, October 17. That is a lot of chances to win!

I have four projects to share. One is a bonus, not seen on Instagram yet! My projects feature the following Simon Says Stamp products:

Budding Branches dies,

Glistening Snow stamp set and the

Layering Peppermints stencil.

For the phrases, I’m using

CZ Design Let’s Get Merry stamp and die sets,

CZ Design Good Cheer stamp set and dies, and for the

“HOHOHO” sentiment,  I used a set that is no longer available, but the set, CZ Design Let’s Make A Tag stamp set would totally work. There’s lots of fun sentiments in this set, too.

NOTE: All of these cards measure 5″ wide X 7″ tall for an A7 sized greeting card. I used Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base (40 qty pack here or a best value reem of 250 qty here). Because I did not color on these cards, You can stamp right on the front of the card base to save costs and time. These are perfect cards to mass produce for the holidays. 🙂 No tedious coloring involved nor countless piece cutting! I use Honey Bee Stamps Precision Tip Glue for attaching all the Budding Branches to these cards.

Merry and Bright in Green Greeting

For this A7 card, I used the tree from the Glistening Snow stamp set and stamped it in three colors of green. I used various inks that blended well together and just inked up from light to dark and stamped using my MISTI stamping tool. It’s important to use the MISTI to ensure you are stamping perfectly on top of the prior impression each time.

I added the Merry and Bright phrase from the Holiday Greetings Mix stamp set. I hand cut it out since I do not have the dies and attached it using Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares.  Using Honey Bee Stamps Precision Tip Glue, I attached the Budding Branches, cut from a holiday green cardstock, to the sides of the phrase as well as some pretty green mix of confetti to finish the look.

Merry Everything in Something Blue Greeting

I used the Glistening Snow hanging snowflakes for this pretty blue A7 greeting. First, I splattered on a light speckle of blue snowflakes using a small fan brush and my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints. I used Distress Oxide Inks in the Blueprint Sketch (darkest blue), Mermaid Lagoon (mid color) and Broken China (light blue) to stamp the snowflakes once the background was dry. You could really use any combination of colors here.

I also attached Budding Branches cut from a navy, turquoise and white cardstock at the top for extra dimension.  I stamped the “merry everything” sentiment from the stamp set, CZ Design Good Cheer stamp set and dies, using a mix of the blue inks like the snowflakes and attached sequins, like these Birthday Cake sequins, to finish it.

Layering Peppermints Red Greeting

For my HO HO HO red card, I stenciled the Layering Peppermints background using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink for the first layer and Candied Apple for the top layer, creating these cute two-tone candies.

I added Budding Branches cut from red and white cardstock and attached them behind my HOHOHO sentiment (from the HOHOHO stamp set no longer available.) Here is a set that has a really cute ho to use, CZ Design Let’s Make A Tag stamp set. This would work perfectly, stacked stamped three times.

I hope you liked my trio of cards today. If you decide to place an order, please use the links in this post so that the companies know what inspired you. I appreciate it very much.
