It’s time for a new release by Simon Says Stamp called, “Just For You.” I received the following fun products to share. For this card, I’m using the Leaf Edges Background stamp set and the Daffodil Stem Hot Foil Plate. Here’s more links to products I’ll be featuring in the next few days:

Leaf Edges Background stamp set
My card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.
For this card, I foiled the daffodil image using gold foil and my Spellbinder Hot Foil System. I colored it using YG67, YG17, YR24, Y19, Y08, Y38 and YR68. The background colored using BG000, BG00 and B00. I inserted the stem design inside the these Arched French Doors. I covered the door frames in black die cuts for more punch.
I also stamped the pretty leafy design above the doors (prior to covering them in black) for a nice, soft black and white background to the doors.
I stamped the “Thinking of you” from the Honey Bee Stamps, Best of Everything stamp set. I love the style of script of this phrase with this card design.
