Hey friends. It’s time for a new release at Simon Says Stamp. I am sharing a number of new products with you. These new products include:
Friendship Leafy Cluster stamp set and coordinating dies (BUNDLE)
Printmaking Hearts Stamps and coordinating dies
Tessellating Snowflakes Embossing Folder
My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.
Charming Daisy Thoughts Card
My first 5″ X 7″ card features that cute Charming Daisy dies. I made six daisies dipped in a bit of light aqua blue (B00) and added them to a navy background embossed with the Tessellating Snowflakes Embossing Folder. I added little white daisies to this snowflake die (because I can:)) to make it look less like snowflakes and more like springtime! I used my white gel pen to create the daisies and the faux stitches around the embossed layer.
To make the aqua centers in the background daisies, I made the centers using the white pen and then colored them using a B04 Copic marker. For the card base, I stenciled the the hearts design using Distress Oxide Ink in Mermaid Lagoon and the Heart Blooms Stencil.
Charming Friends Cluster Card
For this 5″ X 7″ card, I created a patterned background using the Friendship Leafy Cluster stamp set and coordinating dies, a teal ink pad plus Copic Markers in BG10 and W3. I colored the little leaves in with the lighter shades. I also splattered dark brown watercolor paint over the patterned design and let is dry.
I stamped a few additional leaves on a separate piece of white cardstock and cut them out. I also die cut an aqua heart using the Honey Bee Stamps XOXO Pierced Hearts die set and layered the cut leaves over the right side of the heart. I hand drew in a dark brown faux stitched border on the card front panel.
To add more color to this card, I added the coral daisy using the Charming Daisy dies. I stamped the sentiments from the leafy set and added some gem sticker pearls in coral and teal to finish this card.
Hugs and Kisses Hearts Card
For this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the Printmaking Hearts Stamps and three shades of red inks. I also added a dark red rhinestone to each heart. I die cut the layers of the Hugs and Kisses dies using white cardstock for the shadow layer and red glitter stock for the sentiment layer.
I attached the assembled die cut to the center of the hearts panel. Between the color blocked layers, I attached some red/white striped washi tape to finish this quick card!
Print Making Hearts Valentine
This card is also a quick one using the same Printmaking Hearts Stamps set. I used a combination of reds, corals and oranges to go with the background on on this card. I added a layer of vellum behind the hearts design to soften the look.
Two pearl gem stickers, gold embossing powder and an 1/8″ strip of gold metallic cardstock add a look of elegance to this card design. I used a white Gelly Roll ink pen to add the dots to the hearts to change it up a bit, too.
