Are you ready for a new release by Honey Bee Stamps? Well on 8/23, a very spooktacular evening, Honey Bee will be opening the black iron gates to a very spooktacular release called, FALLOWEEN! PLUS, with qualifying purchases, you can earn a FREE BEE. See what I did with the free bee dies below. Here’s a few sneak peeks of the release available around 8 PM on Friday night, 8/23/2024.

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

Scaredy Cat Card

I’m using the following new sets from the release for this spooky fun card:

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I used Distress Oxide Inks for the background. I used Villainous Potion for the top half and Forest Moss and Black Soot for the bottom half. I applied the background colors using my Blender Brushes.

I stamped in Mustard Seed and die cut the yellow moon from the Owlloween set. I glued the moon to the background and blended a little yellow ink around the moon’s edges for a light cast around the moon. I stamped the tree from the Owlloween set over the background and moon. Sometimes you have to use a black marker to match up the lines where the moon edge is due to a thicker background. I used Copic Markers YR23 and YR24 to add more depth to the moon and a white gel pen to add the cobwebs between the trees limbs.

I cut the elements to make the layered cat, spider, bat and pumpkin from the Lovely Layers: Scaredy Cat set. I attached the elements, added shading below them to ground them to the scene and added sparse ticker grasses around the elements. Lastly, I added a sentiment using the Sweet Halloween stamp set and Honey Cut dies. I attached the card front to an A7 white card base to complete it.
