My 5″ X 7″ card below features the following new Festive Fun products by Simon Says Stamp :

Old Fashioned Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies (Bundled package here)

Falling Snowflakes Acetate Foil Transfer Sheets

Pawsitively Dazzling Gems Peppermint Mix

I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card base. The front panel is cut from a warm gray cardstock.  Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. I also like to use foam squares to create more dimension on my cards. My white Gelly Roll Pen is my go-to for adding any white highlights. Here’s the details.

An Old Fashioned Christmas Card

To make this card, I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Old Fashioned Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies (Bundled package here). I used the following Copic Sketch Marker colors to color the images: E57, YR27, YR24, Y21, R89, R46, R27, R14, C6, C3, C1, YR68, YR15, YG67, and YG17.

To make the card front panel background, I cut a 5″ X 7″ piece of warm gray cardstock. I die cut a 3.75″ X 5″ rectangle in the panel using Hero Arts Nesting Rectangle Dies. I used the Falling Snowflakes Acetate Foil Transfer Sheets along with my Heidi Swapp Minc machine and Deco Foil in a very light mint.  I sandwiched the acetate between the gray cardstock panel with the open rectangle and the white card base. The white card base showed through the window.

I attached the drinks and bottle over the snowflake window. I added two strips of black at the bottom of the window, like a ledge, to “ground” the bottle and drinks. I stamped the sentiment and attached it to the black ledge. Lastly, I added the white diamonds from the Pawsitively Dazzling Gems Peppermint Mix  to the snowflakes in the window for a little sparkle and shine! This 5″ X 7″ card is done!
