Pinboard 5″ X 7″ Card
My 5″ X 7″ inspiration card features the following new items from the Alex Syberia Designs, Wrapped In Love Collection.
My card base and front panel are made from Neenah 80lb cardstock. Here are the details…
To make this card, I stenciled the tiny flowers on a piece of white cardstock measuring 4.75″ wide X 6.75″ tall. I used Ranger Distress Oxide Ink in Mermaid Lagoon and Kitsch Flamingo. I attached the stencil design to the front of the card base.
I stamped and die cut all of the tickets. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color in all the stamped images. Teals, golds, aquas, pinks and reds are the color choices. I die cut the separate birds and flowers and attached them to the tickets to make the designs flow off the tickets for interest.
I had two stitched pink strips that I cut from a die cut frame. I used these for the straps on the pinboard. I cut and attached them to both sides of the floral “pinboard.” Next, I added the tickets and attached them in place. I let the straps go over and under the tickets to make them look realistic. I added dollops of antique bronze Pearl Pen on the ends to make them looks like rivets were used to attach the straps.
I hand drew two pins and cut them out to use to make the pinboard look like a pinboard! How cute are they? They are easy to draw, cut out and attach to the pinboard. This card is ready to pin! Thanks for visiting!
