Hello, friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here participating in an Instagram hop to celebrate the Spooktacular Release by Honey Bee Stamps. This new release includes spooky fun Halloween products as well as abundantly beautiful fall looks. There are sooooo many awesome sets in this release. You’re going to FALL in love with fall and Honey Bee all over again! My card features the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Fall Foliage Frame stamp set and coordinating die set
Fall For You stamp set and coordinating die set
Beautiful Blooms stamp set and coordinating die set
Grain and Grunge 6″ wide X 8-1/2″ longd pattern paper pad
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size. Now for the details…
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I used one of the woodgrain pattern papers from the Grain and Grunge paper pack. What I love about this pack is that it fills the entire front of a 5″ X 7″ card. Most papers are not large enough to cover the whole panel. I love this paper so much that I ordered 3 paper pads to use in the upcoming months! Love it. 🙂
I stamped, colored and cut the floral frame using the Fall Foliage Frame stamp set and coordinating die set and the four accent sprigs of blossoms and foliage from the Beautiful Blooms stamp set and coordinating die set I used the following Copic marker colors to color the images:
- Oranges: YR27, YR09, YR68, YR15
- Golds: YR27, YR24, YR21
- Maroon: V99, RV95, R89, V04
- Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00
I also shaded the edges of the frame using a light-handed blend of Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink. I also splattered Raw Umber watercolor paint all over the floral frame and center to make it look more organic. I attached the frame to the front panel.
I stamped the center phrase from the Fall For You stamp set and coordinating die set and splattered it with paint, too. After die cutting the sentiment, I attached it to the center of the frame, using foam tabs to make it raised. I glued the springs of florals and leaves behind the phrase and above the frame to accent the sentiment. Lastly, I added the Autumn Pearls Stickers in metallic gold to the front.
Inside the card, I stamped two sentiments from the Fall Foliage Frame stamp set and sprigs of flowers and greenery from the Beautiful Blooms stamp set. I love to make a coordinated interior in my cards. I keep them simple and black and white so that I do not have any Copic bleeding on the back side of my card.
On the back of the envelope, I’ll add this cute maple leaf wax seal to seal the deal! I made this using the new Maple Leaf Wax Stamper wax stamper and Autumn Metallics Wax. These colors are so rich and pretty! I used a combo of colors on my seal above. Notice my tools – a Wax Melting Spoon and Wax Stirring Tool. This is so fun, gals!
