Hi friends! Today is the Jane’s Doodles blog hop. We are sharing a new stamp set and fun dies now available in Jane’s online hop. Jane has a new set called, “Beary Sweet” along with the Gift Tag Die, “Hugs” die and Hearts Die. My dies package is still in transit so today I’m sharing just the stamp set, but please check out the dies on the other designers’ blog hop posts, too!
A Giveaway! One lucky person leaving a comment on the blog hop will receive a $25 gift certificate. Jane is also offering a sale of 30% (excludes the new release) and some bundle deals, too! Shop Jane’s Doodles now! Also, Blog hop stops are listed at the bottom of this post. There are eight total stops today (including mine).
Both of my cards are 5″ X 7″ in size. I used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card bases and card front panels. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the designs.
For my first card, I created a fun design that actually allows one bear to hug the other. Simple cutting makes this idea a cinch. I was able to remove the back hand of the side bear with my scissors so that it looks like he is actually hugging his favorite bear! The gingham pattern paper is from Honey Bee Stamps. I colored everything using Copics. I used the following Copic markers and Gelly Roll pens:
- Yellows/Golds: YR27, YR24, Yr21, Y21
- Reds and Pinks: R89, R59, R29, R24, R14, R22, R30, R00
- Browns: E59, E57, E55, E35
- Warm Grays: W7, W5, W4, W3, W1
- Cool Grays: C3, C1
- Blues: B05, B02, B00
- Black: 100
- Gelly Roll white ink pen for accents and highlights
For my second card, I kept it clean and simple, ensuring the focus of the card stayed on the friendship hug. I used a rainbow of colors to accent the sweaters and floral bouquet. I added a few random dots of color around the design for a little more pizzazz. To create the scallop front panel, I used the second largest frame from the Honey Bee Stamps Scallop A7 Frame die set. I like this white-on-white look by layering the scallop over a white card base made from the same cardstock. Copic Markers and pens I used:
- Reds: R29, R14, R22
- Yellows: Y18, Y15, Y06
- Lavenders: V09, V06, V04
- Blues: B29, B05, B02, B00
- Cool Grays: C7, C5, C3, C1
- Browns: E59, E57, E55, E53, E35, E31
- Oranges: YR68, YR07, Y38
- Greens: YG25, YG03, YG01
- Gelly Roll white ink pen for accents and highlights

Hi Bobbi,
Your cards are too cute. I like bigger cards, so it’s nice to see other crafters use them. Your bear card with the white sweaters is so cute. I just love their little bear butts😊. Thanks for showing how all the different stamps can be used such as hearts on the sweaters. I love the trick to make the side kissing bears. I just subscribed to your YouTube channel so I can see more of your creations. Bye
I just love your cards. So amazing.
