Time to fill your baskets, cartons and/or nests with all the pretty things from the Honey Bee Stamps Simply Spring release! I’m using the following products for this Easter egg card:
Eggstra Special stamp set and coordinating dies
Daisy Layer Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies
Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery dies
Gingham Galore Spring Paper Pad
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.
All of the elements for this card were die cut and attached to the pattern paper background. I used scrap pieces of watercolor papers to die cut the eggs, making them look really “dyed” for easter! A warm gray was used for my carton. I stamped the egg sentiment directly on the inside of the carton, allowing the carton to be dimensional with an open top.
Daisies from the Daisy Layer Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies as well as Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery dies accented the carton. I used simple coloring for the daisies with Copics in W3, W1 and Y19 for the centers. So easy! A phrase from the Eggstra Special stamp set and coordinating dies was used at the top of the card.

Such a cute idea! It would be fun for kids to put the eggs in the carton and be able to switch them out for play! We are using the egg die for our Easter eggs this year. Eggs are so expensive right now.
