So many boxes adorn this card for a special birthday. It’s Bobbi here with a celebration card featuring Sunny Studio Stamp’s Perfect Gift Boxes dies. This set features a tall box and a smaller square-shaped box, both fitted with coordinating bows on top. I cut four sets of box/bow pieces in yellow, green, blue and red and then mix and matched the colors for unique looks. I also used my white Gelly Roll pen to add dots, stripes, and stitches to make them a little more decorative.
I like to make 5″ X 7″ greeting cards so I attached these cute presents to the top of a white A7 card base. I added strips of warm gray cardstock strips in three graduating widths with white showing through between each strip. I like the contrast of the clean strips on the bottom with the bold presents on top.
To complete the card, I added a bright red heart balloon at the top using the Bright Balloons dies. I hand drew the black string to connect it to the boxes. I also added some hand cut banners at the top. If you prefer a die, Sunny Studio has one! The Banner Basics die set works perfect for this! I stamped the word “celebrate” from the stamp set, Birthday Cats. Lastly, I added a few pieces of shimmery confetti above and around the balloon for a bit of fun sparkle.
