Hello! It’s time for a new release at Simon Says Stamp. I’m sharing some fun stuff from the release below with a list of the products I used. If you like any of these and want to purchase them, please use my links here. I appreciate it very much! Let’s get started!

I’m using the following new products:

Blessed Die

Hip Hip Hooray stamps and coordinating dies (Bundle)

Eggstra Special stamps and coordinating dies (Bundle)

Pretty Bows dies

Basic Shapes Circles

Pale Green Embellishment Mix

One for the Books stamps and dies (This one is a great set and I am waiting for mine to arrive! Stay tuned!)

My card base and card fronts are made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock. I also use Hero Arts Black ink for my stamping. My cards are 5″ X 7″ except for the circular card below.

Blessed Bouquet Card

For this 5″ X 7″ Blessed card, I speckled on green watercolor paint over the front of the card. Next, I die cut the Blessed Die, using 4 layers of the “blessed” script with the top one splattered with blue watercolor paint. The shadow die was die cut from an aqua blue cardstock.

I also used the Simon Says Stamp Tattered Leaves die, Delicate Frond die, and Budding Branches dies and various colors of green cardstock to create this bouquet. I used Copics in YG67, YG17 and YG03 to shade some of the leaves.

I used an aqua blue Mist Embellishment Mix and the Pale Green Embellishment Mix to create the “flowers.” The Pretty Bows dies was used to create the blue bow on the bouquet. A little gem sticker finishes off the bow.

This card is so sweet and very blessed!

Eggstra Special Chicks Card

This card showcases all the sweet chicks and eggs from the Eggstra Special stamps and coordinating dies (Bundle). To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I splattered the background using watercolor paint and a fan-shaped brush.

I stamped the images from the Eggstra Special stamp set and colored them using Copic Sketch Markers. I used the following colors: E19, E08, E06, BG11, BG10, B01, B00, RV17, and RV02. I die cut them using their coordinating dies. I assembled the card, using the Scene Building A2 Tall Grass Die to create the scene.

I stamped the sentiment using Distress Oxide Inks in Salvaged Patina, and Twisted Citron and added a little shadowing using a YG17 Copic Marker. Lastly, I added a pink bow using the Pretty Bows dies.

Hip, Hip Hooray Card

My next card uses the Hip Hip Hooray stamps and coordinating dies (Bundle) for this light-hearted card with a few heavy hippos! I stamped, cut and colored the hippos and pond. I used the Basic Shapes Circles dies to create the card base. I folded the green cardstock and allowed the die to extend beyond the folded edge. Then, I used a smaller circle die from the set to cut the white cardstock card front.

I splattered the white circle with watercolor paint and attached the hippos using foam tabs to make them stand out. I also used the Scene Building A2 Tall Grass Die as a scene builder element, too.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiments above and below the scene and attached the card front to the circular card base to complete the card.
