There’s something magical about opening a handmade greeting card—especially when it feels like a tiny world waiting to be discovered. This newest Waffle Flower Crafts collection dives deep into imagination, bringing the wonder of the ocean right to your fingertips. Each set is thoughtfully crafted and filled with fresh, playful details: gentle sea turtles gliding through coral reefs, swaying seaweed, hidden treasures tucked beneath the waves, and even a cheerful yellow submarine drifting by. A curious scuba diver explores it all, inviting the recipient to pause, look closer, and smile.

These cards I made aren’t just messages—they’re miniature underwater adventures. Designed to spark joy and curiosity, every element is layered with care, texture, and a sense of storytelling that makes each piece feel one-of-a-kind. Whether you’re sending a note of encouragement, celebration, or just a simple hello, these ocean-inspired designs transform everyday correspondence into something truly memorable.

My cards measure 5″ X 7″ and I’ve listed the Waffle Flower Crafts products I used for each one underneath. Enjoy and let me know if you have questions!

Happy Turtle Card

For this fun 5″ X 7″ lively card, I created the scene using the Under the Sea Background Stencil and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some green to the bottom with Mowed Lawn ink. Once that was complete, I added all the Coral Reef die cuts to the front and enhanced each one with the Coral Reef Stencil (combo set) and Copic Markers. I used the Happy Turtle Dies to make the two turtles and some additional greenery from the Seafloor Silhouette Dies and stencils. I added a sentiment using the Bubbly Sentiments stamps and coordinating Bubbly Sentiments dies (combo set).

Red Lobster Card

My lobster 5″ X 7″ card is beaming with this bright red and pink lobster face. How cute is this?! To make this card, I used the same Under the Sea Background Stencil for the background and used darker shades of blue and aqua blue with a little green at the bottom. Next, Using the Under the Sea dies and Under the Sea stencils, I added seaweed and coral (light aqua cardstock slighting colored with Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple) to create the sea floor.

The lobster was cut from a coral-pink cardstock for the top layer and a red cardstock for the base layer. I added Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to the lobster top layer to make him pink and red. I splattered water over the inks and blotted them to make the lobster filled with water spots. I also splattered white acrylic paint over him, too. I added white highlight marks with my white pen. I added the lobster to the under the sea scene. I attached him with foam tabs to make him stand out, too. The sentiment is from the Bubbly Sentiments stamps and coordinating Bubbly Sentiments dies (combo set).

The Yellow Submarine Card

The 5″ x 7″ yellow submarine card was created using the Happy Submarine Die Set. I attached the submarine using foam tabs to make it stand out. The background was created using the Seafloor Silhouette Dies and stencils, Coral Reef die cuts, and the Coral Reef Stencil (combo set). I used Copci Markers to enhance the colored die cuts. The sentiment is from the Subsentiments Bubbly diecuts. I also used the Happy Bubbles Stencil to create the fun bubbles, too! Splatters of blue watercolor ink and white ink also added to the look. I added some enamel clear dots for bubbles over the stenciled design for more dimension.

Under The Sea Adventures Card

For this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the Under the Sea die and coordinating Under the Sea Stencil. I also used the Seafloor Silhouette Dies and stencils and the Coral Reef die cuts, and the Coral Reef Stencil (combo set). The sentiment is from the Subsentiments Bubbly diecuts.
