Merry Snowflakes at Penguin Palace Stamps

I have a quick card today for the holidays featuring Penguin Palace Stamps products. This holiday card uses the following products:

To create this card, I started by using Frostbite Glacier Paste by Nuvo with the Crystal Snowflake Stencil. Once it dried completely, I added more stenciled snowflakes with a gray ink.

I stamped the circular phrase in a Memento Teal Zeal ink and die cut it with its coordinating die. I matted the phrase with a vellum layer die cut using another scalloped edge circular die from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt notes die set. I attached the circular matted phrase using a Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares so it pops up a bit.

I also added metallic silver string to make the phrase look like a hanging ornament. The 4-1/2″ card front was attached to a white 5″ square card base made out of 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. To finish, I added teal, white and aqua sequins and teal dots using Glass Effects Gel in a teal color. While difficult to see in these photos, this card really sparkles in the the light! It’s merry and bright. 🙂
