Good morning, friends! It’s time for holiday gift cards and one type of card that I seem to use a lot is a coffee gift card. I like to give them as a service “thank you.” I purchase them at our local coffee house and Starbucks or Duncan Donuts for my friends who live in a different city. It’s a quick and easy gift that anyone can use, even the “hard to buy for.” There’s no clutter with a card, it’s used and gone!
To make my coffee cup shaped card, I used the Coffee Cup Card die set from Honey Bee Stamps (available at Simon Says Stamp) and the The Greeting Farm Winter Digis, Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice for the girl. I added strips of card stock and a red/white stripe pattern paper to the cup to resemble a Starbucks disposable coffee cup. I added some white stars using my Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen. Here’s the colors I used to color everything:
Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E57, E55, E43, E50
Clothing and mug:
- Reds: R89, R59, R29, R17, R14
- Greens: YG67, G00, Yg11, YG
- Grays: C5, C3, C1
- E44, E43, E42, E50
For the inside, I used the The Greeting Farm Christmas Sayings digis. I printed it out using my printer and then die cut the inside of the cup shaped, centering the die over the saying. I added a few dots of color using my Copics for fun. They remind me of sprinkles. The Coffee Cup Card die set includes a gift card holder option for inside. This card fits inside an A2 envelope for mailing.
