Love is in the Air and in the Sea!

With February 14 right around the corner, love is in the air, but today it’s in the sea, too. These BFF mermaids share their love for each other by offering jewels and pearls to each other. I’ve got pearls galore on this card to fit the theme of this week’s challenge, “Love is in the Air.” 

I created the undersea scene using Copic markers. I added these cute images from the set, Mermaid Trolls from Craftin’ Desert Divas.  I framed the scene using the largest die from the Inside Scalloped Square dies. Pearls frame the scene with one on each scallop as well as a grid design of pearls on the bottom using Nuvo Drops. This is an easy way to add a little unexpected bling and dimension to a card.
