To make this card, I started with Canson XL watercolor paper and added blue watercolor strokes in a circular design. I stamped, colored and fussy cut two individual bees and two extra faces. I stamped the extra faces with cute expressions and “popped” them up on the full bees using dimensional foam squares. I tthen adhered the bees to the background with a thin dimensional foam tape. A black and white gingham ribbon was added along with the layered phrase, “Just BEEcause” from Hi Honey stamp set. Lastly, I added sequins from the Honey Bee Sequins Mix.
This is a quick and easy card to make because the coloring on the bees is minimal. For Copics, I used C9, C6, C3 for the black stripes and Y17, Y06 and Y03 for the yellow stripes. B000 and B01 added some light blue to the bees’ wings, too. Copic C3 was used to add a thin border around the images.
