My inspiration cards today feature the following Jane’s Doodle’s products:
Cactus (small diamond design, only)
Since embossing is the challenge theme, I not only heat embossed, but I also dry embossed the background using an embossing folder. Either one counts for this challenge. 🙂 I used gold metallic embossing powder and my Versamark pad for all my heat embossing done below.
I dry embossed the background of this 5″ X 7″ card front with a 4.25″ wide X 5.5″ tall embossing folder I embossed the design from the top side, allowing both sides and the bottom to remain flat and available for the sentiment to be stamped. Once the card front was embossed, I stamped and embossed a small diamond design from the Cactus stamp set. I also stamped and embossed the phrase in the lower right corner from the Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I stamped and heat embossed the adorable layered cakes from the Cake stamp set. I masked the cake with the candles and stamped a layered cake behind it, then I also stamped/embossed the cake with flowers on the top, twice. All four cakes were fussy cut and colored using Zig Clean Color Markers. Colors were overlapped to create beautiful blends. The cards were adhered to the card front, with dimensional tabs behind a couple of them to pop them up for dimension. Lastly, sequins were added for added interest in coordinating colors.
