Today’s my birthday so why not celebrate with a birthday card post! This card seemed appropriate to post today since I’m feeling a little “alienated” from the rest of the world due to Covid-19. 🙂
I’m using one of the new sets from the latest Honey Bee Stamps 5th anniversary release called, Far Out Friends stamp and die sets along with its coordinating sentiment set, Stellar Sentiments stamp and die sets. There is also a rocket ship shaped card base die that complements the astronauts in this stamp set. I love the moon in this set. It’s fun to color up! I added wobbly eyeballs to one these “out of this world” creatures. The background was created using Distressed Oxide inks and my Honey Bee Blender Brushes. I stamped my moon higher on my card to make it a bigger platform for my aliens. Other than that, this card is straightforward, stamp, coloring and diecutting. This is a 5″ X 7″ card and fits in an A7 envelope.
Thanks for stopping by…time to go have fun on my birthday in my art studio! My friend brought over a mojito drink. Might have that on the porch after I walk my sweet cavi, Stella today. 🙂
