Yippee! There’s a new release coming from Honey Bee Stamps! This release has got that summer lovin’ feeling. It’s called, “Hello Summer” and today is the first day of sneak peeks. These products are right up my alley. I can’t wait to show you so let’s get started! I’m using the following new Honey Bee Stamps products:
Raise A Glass stamp and die sets
Sip, Sip, Hooray stamp and die sets
Raise A Glass
Summer at our lake house always includes a refreshing beverage on the deck or in the boat. How about four, fun, summer, delicately garnished drinks?! I’m using four unique glass shapes from the Raise A Glass stamp and die sets. Each one has a special garnish, too. 🙂 To make this card, I used a sheet of faux yellow wood plank pattern paper from the Hot Tropics pattern paper pad to create the bar. Behind the bar, I splashed and splattered some watercolor on Canson XL Watercolor paper using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints.
Each drink was colored in using a more artistic approach to the liquid v. a realistic look. I used Copics Sketch markers to color in bright shades of yellows, reds, blues and greens. Each one was garnished as well. Lastly, I added 4 mm craft foam in black to the bar counter as well as the drinks to “raise” them off the background. 🙂 The black craft foam is important for making some of the the thin glass stems more stable.
Sip, Sip Hooray phrase was stamped, die cut, colored and attached to the bar front. To migrate some of the color to the lower half, I added a few drops of the beverages to the vowels in “hooray!” This card is a 5″ X 7″ card size.
