Hi there! I’ve got a card to share using new products from the Let’s Connect release by Simon Says Stamp. I’m using a new die and a new stamp set for my card below. This card is one that could have countless lives with the new Card Sharing stamp set. Essentially, this set allows you to “regift” the card.

In addition to the Card Sharing stamp set, I’m also using the new Poppy Stem die, too.

Poppy Stem and Card Sharing

For this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by creating a rectangular shape square of Yupo paper colored with Ranger Alcohol Inks in fall tones. I added the Poppy Stem in black, layered with 4mm black craft foam underneath to make it stand out. Below the poppy, I cut out another poppy from the Yupo paper and used that inside the card. I’ll show you that in a moment.

Sequins were added in matching colors to the Yupo paper for added sparkle. The phrase is from the stamp set, So Beautiful.

Inside the card, I added the Poppy Stem die cut from the Yupo paper and adhered it on a separate piece of cardstock and tucked it inside the message band. The band was added with removable adhesive and can be easily removed along with the Card Sharing phrase stamped on it. The next person to receive this card can either remove the band and write a message inside the card, giving this card two lives. Or, the recipient can leave the band adhered inside and simply tuck a new note underneath the band and re-gift over and over! How cool is that?!
