It’s Day 3 of the Honey Bee Stamps Sneak Peek week for its upcoming new fall release called Autumn Splendor available on 8/23/2021. I’m using a number of new featured products in my card today from the release:

Hedgehugs stamp set and coordinating die set

Stacking Art Deco Labels die set

Autumn Spendor A2 Cover Plate Die

Sweater Weather stamp set and coordinating die set (I used the stamp set only)

Cable Knit Sweater Background Stencil

I had so much fun working with all these new products. They work well together. Think of all the possibilities! Here’ my take on this cute set…

My card measures 5″ wide X 7″ tall. I started by folding a 10″ wide X 7″ tall piece of teal cardstock in half and die cut the Stacking Art Deco Labels die set through both layers, making sure the folded edge was on the right. this will create the “envelope” for the cover plate die cut. I stenciled the Cable Knit Sweater Background Stencil on the front using Ranger Distressed Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers over the teal. Oxide ink “sits” on top, allowing the lighter color to create the pattern. I added sporadic white highlights using white gel pen for extra texture. Using two sizes of the Art Deco label dies, I created a frame for the opening using a lighter aqua cardstock. The inside die of the frame is the same die I used for the opening for a perfect fit.

I stamped, colored and die cut the hedgehog couple – front and back side of the animals (two images in the set). I colored the hedgehogs in E50 colors and added white markings using a white gel pen. I colored the scarf in the following colors: BG75, BG45, BG11, YR27, YR24, YR21, Y35, Y18, Y15, YR07, YR14, YR00. The front view animals were attached to the front and the back side of the animals were attached to the inside left panel.

I die cut the the Autumn Spendor A2 Cover Plate Die from Ivory cardstock and inserted it into the teal folded piece. I added specks of RV99 and black to the leaves on the front side. I adhered it in place using  Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. Next, I cut a piece of light gold cardstock sized 5-1/2″ wide X 7″ tall and scored 1/2″ in from the left side of the width. This 1/2″ section was also inserted in between the teal to create the folded card.

Using Bee Creative Black Intense Ink, I stamped the verses from Sweater Weather stamp set and added leaves from the Hedgehugs stamp set. Using a black marker and a white gel pen, I added specks around the phrases as well as some leaves.
