Hi Friends! Bobbi here, sharing a card using new sets by Paperie Ink. I’m using the new Woodland Ornaments stamp set that is filled with lots of ornaments designed to look like animals you see in the forest or natural habitat. They are from all over globe including the Koala Bear and penguin! There are a total of 12 animals represented in this set. I am using eight of the ornaments on these four ornaments. Let’s take a look.

To make these tags, I used the largest sized tag in the  Hero Arts Nesting tags set for all four tags. I die cut each one using Neenah 80lb cardstock for the back sides of the tags and then Waffle Crafts JJ’s Rainbows Paper Pad for the front sides. I used a horizontal stripe and a rounded stripe for the four tags. I stamped a to/from section on the backs of each one.

All of the woodland animals were stamped, colored using Copic Sketch Markers and fussy cut out. I colored all eight ornaments using grays/whites and black using C7, C5, C3, C1 and 100 Copics. Each ornament has an attached hook, an image from the set. The black strings were made with a fine-tip marker and ruler. Each ornament was “hung” / attached to the tag using a Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Square.

I added die cut pine branches from the Simon Says Stamp Pine Needle Trio in two colors of green. I positioned them in different spots above the ornament mix on each one. I added a phrase to each tag. “’tis the season” and “Merry Everything” is from the stamp set, Giant Holiday 2.  The “All is Calm…” and “Holiday mood…” phrases are from the stamp set, Holiday Mood. I stamped the phrases in black and then fussy cut them out to attach to the tags. The mood phrase was stamped directly on the tag. For the others, I stamped on white, cut it out and attached using a Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares. Lastly, I glued on white pompom trim on the bottoms of each tag, added faux white stitches and gingham ribbon string to each one.
