All of the cards shared here are A7 sized (5″ X 7″) and made using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also use Versafine Onyx Black Ink unless otherwise stated.
Many Blessings Card
This card is a quick and simple one. I heat embossed in white the floral design from the Spring Stems stamp set. I also splattered on metallic gold paint using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) and Dr. PH Marten’s Bleedproof white paint on a warm gray and white cardstock.
I finished the card with the phrase from the same stamp set and a few strips of metallic gold and gray cardstock.
Praying For You Card
For this card, I used the Spring Stems stamp set and stamped the florals at the bottom of the card front. I colored all of the flowers using Copics: Y38, Y19, Y18, Y17, Y15, Y06, G20, YG67, YG63, YG23, YG03, and YG00.
I splattered the entire front using watercolors in green, metallic gold and yellow along with white. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) and Dr. PH Marten’s Bleedproof white paint. I stamped three additional centers of the flowers and colored them to match. I attached them using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make them stand out a bit. It gives the card and flowers some nice dimension.
Finally, I stamped the phrase from the same set and added hemp twine at the top. The front panel was attached to a white card base.
Good Luck To You Card
To make the background of this card, I heat embossed in white, the Shamrock Background Stamp on green cardstock. I colored in the background, around the shamrocks using a Copic 100 (black) marker. The stamped design was attached to a white card base and I added strips of black for a clean finish at the top and bottom.
I die cut the Linking Lucky Clovers die out of black (shadow die), and green and gold (top layer die) and attached the linked clovers to the front of the card.
I stamped and die cut the phrase, “good luck to you” from the set, Silhouette Sentiments. I attached it to the front with a black foam backing to make it stand out more. I like the black foam showing from the sides to match the drama of this card.
Happy Birthday Flower Card
For my last card, I used the Layered Confetti Stencil Set with Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I added a bright coral red color and a strip of white at the bottom of the card.
Next, I die cut the “happy b-day” die with a red shadow and white letters and attached it to the front. I also used the Linking Lucky Clovers die as three flowers and die cut the shadow in white, the outline in a mustard and the 1/2″ circle punch center dots in coordinating reds/coral colors. The centers were attached using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares. This card speaks happy loudly!
