I’m sharing a card today that features the Jane’s Doodles stamp set, Happy Hour. There’s lots of tutti fruity fun in these drinks. To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped and colored all the drinks and fussy cut them out. I used the following colors to color these refreshing beverages:
Copic Marker Colors: Y38, Y19, Y13, YR68, R29, R17, R14, B01, B00, B000, C3, C1, YG67, YG25, YG03, YG00Y09, Vo6, V04
I also stamped the “Happy Birthday” phrase and die cut it using the Simon Says Stamp, XL Greeting Set 3 combo stamps and dies.
For the bottom half of the card, I used Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks to make the splotchy looking abstract design. I used water to pull up color and then blended more oxide inks over it to get the really deep colored splotches.
I attached the drinks and the phrases and stamped a few more phrases from the beverage set. Square foam tabs were used to raise the phrase and three of the drinks. After assembling the card, I added a few sequins to the design in a diagonal pattern to finish this card.
