Hello, friends! It’s time for some inspiration hopping over on Instagram. Simon Says Stamp has a new release called, “Dream Big” and it is filled with so many new pretties like all SSS releases! You can hop on the IG hop here. Leave a comment for a chance to win, too. One lucky winner from each stop will be randomly selected to receive $$ to spend at the SSS online store!
For my two cards today, I’m using the following products:
Bohemian Background Foil Plate *NEW from the Dream Big release
Terrace Floral Embossing Folder and die *NEW from the Dream Big release
Both cards are A7 size (5″ X 7″) below. Card bases and die cuts are cut from Neenah Solar White smoth cardstock in 80lb unless noted differently below.
Happy Birthday Card
This 5″ X 7″ card includes a Glimmer Foil Cobalt Blue metallic foil design on white using the Bohemian Background Foil Plate and my Spellbinders Hot Foil System. I added the blue floral design by embossing the flowers using the Terrace Floral Embossing Folder and die from cobalt blue cardstock. Two 1/8″ strips of of metallic glitter gold cardstock were added on both sides of the Bohemian design strip. I also added some royal blue rhinestones for some extra bling.
The Privet Branch was die cut from white cardstock that I had ink blended with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Speckled Egg Ranger Distress Oxide Inks. I attached the branches around the florals to make a spray. Using the same blended cardstock, I die cut the “happy birthday” and attached it to a light aqua base cardstock. The phrase and floral spray were attached to the base with Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares.
For the daisy center, I added Warm Pearls. I love the texture it gives to this single flower spray.
At the bottom, I ink blended a bit of Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom and added more gem stickers in teals and blues for some sparkle. This card is complete!
Thankful for You Card
For my second 5″ X 7″ card, I foiled the background using gold metallic foil using my Spellbinders Hot Foil System on white cardstock. I also added some color to the design using Copics in G00, BG23, and B00. I kept the coloring light and soft.
I added green gem stickers to the centers of the designs and along the bottom of the foiled design. The Privet Branches were cut from watercolor paper colored in blues, greens and yellows. It makes those branches blend nicely with the background design.
I used two colors of teal cardstock for the “thankful for you” phrase and attached it to the bottom right. I made three die cuts for the scripted “thanful” word to make it stand out more, too.
That does it for these two cards! If you decide to place an order, please use the links in this post so that the Simon Says Stamp knows what inspired you. I appreciate it very much. It helps me to continue to bring more ideas to you!

I am seriously obsessed with these cards, especially the blue flower! I may have stared at and counted up all the amazing details for quite a while!
Thanks, Beth. I went with cool tones today. Not feeling blue, just feeling all summery… lakes, trees… Inspired by what is around me. Have a great day! Bobbi
