Quick Notes With Bees

Quick Notes With Bees

Hi Bee friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with four quick BEE-you-tiful notes featuring some sweet honey Babees! My kids are heading back to college in just a few days and I love to tuck a note in their backpacks or luggage to surprise them. 🙂

I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products for these notecards:

Babees stamp set and coordinating dies

Terrific Tags die set

Best Gift Ever stamp set

Scallop A7 Card Frames die set

Big Buzzword stamp set and Big Buzzword die set

The featured projects below are made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card bases unless noted. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together.

Handmade With Love Note

My first note uses a warm gray cardstock color for the card base. I simply die cut the largest scallop rectangle in the Scallop A7 Card Frames die set and folded it in half. A splattering of colorful watercolor paint and some faux stitching adds interest to the tag. I colored the bee using Copic Markers -100, YG19, YG15, YG08 and C7. I love these fun sentiments from the Best Gift Ever stamp set!

Love You Acetate Note

For this 4-1/4″ square note, I used clear acetate for the card front and a blue watercolor wash on Canson XL watercolor paper inside. I used fun pattern papers inside and out. With the pattern background, I kept the sweet bee in basic black and white on this one.

Here’s a look at the inside. This fun patterns are part of the “free bee” pattern paper pack you get with eligible orders. I added a “love you” phrase inside, too! The cute bees are part of the paper and they coordinate with the Babees stamp set and coordinating dies.

I Hope You Love It Note

More splatters in colors and black plus some watercolor washes make this card playful. I added two more phrases and a bee to the Terrific Tags die set. I added red and white baker’s twine to the tag.

Big Hugs Bee Note

More pattern paper and a white scallop card base starts this note off in a BEE-you-tiful way. I added the bee and some pretty yellow-gold Summer Sun Confetti Mix to finish this quick note.
