I’m sharing ideas using new stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp including these new products:

CZ Design Witch Please

Layered Pumpkin dies

Just a note – These cards are made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and/or Canson XL Bristol watercolor paper  (blue pad). All three cards measure 5″ X 7″ in size. Let’s take a look.

Ride or Die Halloween Card

This bright card begins with a watercolor background in oranges, reds and yellows. I use Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48)  for my paint. These paint colors are bold against the silhouette witches. I used the layered pumpkin die and elevated the front pieces using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares so that I could tuck the witches in and make it look like they are coming out of the sides of the pumpkin.

You can see from the side the dimension of the pumpkin. The pumpkin was die cut from black and white dotted pattern paper (not sure of brand). You could make this paper easily with white cardstock and a black marker, too. Two phrases were added to the top. Specks of black and white using my black marker and  Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen finish the front side of the card.

A couple of sentiments complete the look inside this card.

Bewitching Halloween Card

Using Distress Oxide Inks in Black SootVillainous PotionWilted Violet, black watercolor paint and water, I created this fun, background. I use blending brushes to add the color to the cardstock. Keeping the middle of the front panel white, I stamped the witch and phrase from the Witch, Please stamp set by CZ Design to make this card. Specks of black and white using my black marker and  Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen finish the front side of the card.

Inside the card, I added more sentiments from the set and another cute witch, too! This card is a 5″ X 7″ size.

Witch, Please Confetti Card

On the front of this 5″ X 7″ card, I flicked on black, orange and purple watercolor paint. Some of the black was diluted to make gray spots, too. I stamped over the confetti background using the sentiments and silhouette witches to finish this front panel.

Inside, specks of black, the witch image and phrase finish off the card.

Here’s another card version using these two sets along with the Sparkling Facets embossing folder for the background.
