Here’s a look at what I made with these fun products. First I have an encouraging and/or celebratory, playful greeting card and two Valentine gift tags.

Wild Love Greeting Card

I made a card and two tags using the products listed above. I absolutely fell in love with the Wild Love set when I saw it and just had to purchase it. I also received the Animal Prints Stencil Set from Simon. I knew I wanted to use the the stamps and stencils together. Because the stencil prints don’t quite match up to the cute animals, I decided to give the wild ones a little makeover on the greeting card… shirts in wild animal prints. You could say I gave each wild one a fun alter ego! I chose four animals that did not have a T-shirt on so that I could customize my own shirts and prints. I used a fine-tip black marker to make the shirt neckline and sleeve markings.

For the background squares, I stenciled the animal prints as shown and cut them down to 2.5″ squares to fit the width of my card. I added white 1/8″ border pieces around the squares to frame them for a more finished look. The sentiments from the Yay You stamp set were stamped, die cut and attached to the card.

Love Ya and Valentine’s Day Gift Tags

I used the Love Ya die set, Wild Love stamp and coordinating die sets, and the Animal Stencil set for the tags. For the tag base, I used the largest tag from the  Hero Arts Nesting Tag die set. I wanted to use two animals that I did not use on the greeting card so I chose the cat and elephant. They both already had striped shirts (hence, the reason I did not use them on the card) so I colored the stripes in to match the collection colors. Extra pieces of the stenciled cardstock from the greeting card were used as background accents pieces. I attached both black and white layered sentiment die cuts using foam tabs. That allowed me to slip the animal image down and behind the phrases. I added a cute black and pink hole reinforcement on the kitty tag. I made it using a 1/2″ circle punch and a hole punch. The Hero Arts Nesting Tag die set comes with hole reinforcement dies, too. (I forgot!)  I attached some ribbon and twine to finish the tags.
