There’s a new release at Simon Says Stamp called Be Creative! It’s filled with lots of happiness, birthday splashes and fun geometric patterns. Today, I’m sharing the following new products:

Slimline Falling Confetti Hot Foil Plate

Parallelogram Background Stamp

My card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base done in white. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details for two cards I made.

Happy Birthday Falling Confetti Card

This 5″ X 7″ card made from coral and peach colored cardstock. I foiled the confetti using Spellbinders Gold Glimmer Foil and my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System.  I hot foiled on both colors of cardstock. I used the coral piece (darker color) to die cut the letters, BIRTHDAY. I used the light color for the card’s background. The BIRTHDAY die cut word is the Chunky Birthday Die.

I added a small “happy birthday” embossed in gold to match the gold confetti. XL Birthday Greetings stamp set. The small 1/8″ strips were cut from white cardstock using the Strips 1 wafer dies.

HBD Parallelogram Background Card

For my second card, I heat embossed the graphic design on white cardstock using gold embossing powder and the Parallelogram stamp. I colored in the rectangles using shades of mauve, brown, gold and peach tones. I cut out the HBD die from cardstock that was heat embossed using the Slimline Falling Confetti Hot Foil Plate and Spellbinders Gold Glimmer Foil. I cut out another one from white cardstock and replaced the letters to make them stand out more. Lastly, I added gold and peach cardstock strips to the top and bottom to finish the front panel using the Strips 1 wafer dies.
