It’s a happy day when you can color a bouquet of daisies in all your favorite spring colors and send the card off to a friend! I have a friend with a birthday next week and this cheery card will be making its way to her mailbox. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products for this happy mail card:

Daisy Layers Bouquet stamp set and coordinating die set

Delicate Daisy A2 Cover Plate Top Honey Cuts die

Big Time Kindness stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts die set

Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery Honey Cuts dies

Simply Spring Gem Stickers

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front’s cover plate design. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size. Now for the details…

To make this card, I layered the pretty delicate daisy design cut from white cardstock over a light aqua cardstock and attached it to a warm gray 5″ X 7″ front panel (which is attached to an A7 card base made from white cardstock).

I stamped and colored the larger daisy bouquet in the set as well as a few individual daisies using Copic Markers in springy colors. I attached the singles over the larger bouquet using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to make the bouquet dimensional (they are the two blue violet colored daisies).

I attached the daisies to the card front using foam tabs, inserting some additional spring greens behind the bouquet (cut from various green cardstock colors). I also stamped and cut the “Oh happy day” phrase from the Big Time Kindness stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts die set. I used foam tabs to attach the words. For a little sparkle, I added some pretty Simply Spring Gem Stickers around the daisy bouquet.

Inside the card, I added a sentiment from the Daisy Layers Bouquet stamp set and stamped the daisy bouquet design on the right edge.
