Hi there! The new Simply Spring release by Honey Bee Stamps is live on March 15, in the evening. I’ll be showcasing sets that are part of the release through the next few weeks. Here’s the new Spring seeds set! I’m using the following new products:

🪺 Spring Wreath stamps and coordinating dies
🪺 Lovely Layers: Spring Birds dies
🪺 This One’s For the Girls stamps
🪺 Simply Spring Paper Pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

For this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut a big circle out of one of the pattern papers from the Simply Spring Paper Pad and added it to my white card front. I splattered brown watercolor paint over the entire front of the card using a fan brush. I stamped the phrase from the This One’s For the Girls stamps in the white space at the bottom using black ink. Simple light pink 1/8″ strips finish the edges of the pattern paper at the top and bottom for a clean finish.

I stamped, colored and die cut the wreath using the Spring Wreath stamps and coordinating dies. I attached it using Bee Creative white foam dots.  This gave me an opportunity to add a little raffia to the inside of the wreath for my bird to nest in. I stamped, die cut and colored my robin, too. I used shades of cool grays and yellow-oranges and reds to color him in. I also used my white Gelly Roll pen to add a few feathered accents.

Copic Colors used:

Robin: YR09, YR68, YR65, YR61, Yr00, R22, R32,100, C9, C8, C7, C5, C4, C1, Y38, Y19 and my white gelly roll pen

Wreath: YR67, YR17, YR25, YR03, YR00, RV69, RV09, RV55, V04, V00, YR24, YR68, YR61, YR00, Y19

Everything was attached and glued in place. This card is ready for Spring season!
