Hello friends! Today, I am participating in an Instagram Hop for the Papertrey Ink April release. You can hop on from my Instagram page, Bobbi Hart Design. Or, start at Papertrey Ink’s IG page.  For my inspiration card, I’m using the following new items from the release:

For my 5″ X 7″ card today, I’m using the following Papertrey Ink products:
These products are available to purchase now!
To make this A7 card, I started with a light pink cardstock for the front panel. I layered on the Exquisite Cover Plate die cut. Since my card is 5″ X 7″, I cut two Exquisite die cuts and attached them to the front, lining the two up for a continuous design that covers the entire front of my card. For an A2 card, you need just one of these die cuts.
Next, I layered on the Psalm Reflections: April dies and the Love to Layer: Delightful Brackets dies to create the frames and scrolly designs around the frame. I cut out the scrolls and attached them as if they were ribbons to the floral designs. The florals are from the Vase Collection 17 stamps and dies. I stamped them using Distress Oxide Inks in Candy Apple, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar. For the foliage, I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness green inks.
I stamped the greetings from the Inside Greetings: Celebration II stamps. I wanted to use this card for an upcoming wedding we are invited to, so I used two of the verses in the set and pieced the sentiments together to get the perfect one for my card. Yes, you can mix and match with a little careful snipping or masking of the sentiment lines!
For additional accents, I used a RV02 Copic Marker to highlight the pin-dot design on the frame and scrolls. I also added cream pearl dots to the sentiment and on the scrolls. I used Pearl Pen, but you could also use Nuvo Drops in an ivory pearl color. This card it ready for the upcoming wedding we are invited to next month!
