You know when you catch a fish and it’s big enough to keep and fry up? We call that a keeper! Honey Bee Stamps just released the stamp set, “Thanks A Bunch” and this set has the phrase, “You’re a Keeper.” Right away, I thought about Bill the Bear and his fishing pole and fish. My card today features the following Honey Bee Products

This card is very straight forward to make. I stamped, copic-colored and die cut the fishing pole, tree trunk, fish, tackle box, cattails  (2) dragon flies and “You’re a Keeper” phrase. I added the items to the front to create a scene and colored in a sandy bank with tall grass and some water at the base. I also stamped the fishing line and “Happy Birthday” in black. I added motion dots around the dragonflies, too. This is a 5″ X 7″ card. I think this is the perfect card for someone who likes to fish. Sub out “Happy Birthday” with “Happy Father’s Day” and you’ve got a card for Dad’s Day next month.
