It’s the last day of the sneak peeks for Honey Bee Stamp’s 4th anniversary BEE day release. All of the sets you’ve seen all week, including today’s sets will be available at midnight tonight on April 19. My card today features the following sets:
Diamonds are a stamper’s best friend when you have the complete Honey Bee Diamond suite of products. The ideas and options are endless between the stencils, dies and stamps. Use them together for so many possibilities. Today, I created a 5″ X 7″ card using the stencil (larger diamond pattern) the stamp set and the coordinating dies. I started by sponging on a rainbow of colors on the background using distressed inks and the stencil. I stamped a diamond-shaped pattern on a few of them with black ink placed strategically to highlight the phrase and balance the top and bottom. I cut centers out of two of the diamonds and switched them with each other to create a a fun little change of color. I also added some dimensional foam and “popped” the min triangles up a bit. Lastly, I cut the background into two pieces and added the sentiment on white cardstock in between them with a strip of black at the top and bottom. This is a quick card and the possibilities are endless.
