It’s day 4 of the Craftin’ Desert Diva’s release week sneak peeks. I’m sharing a new set called, Cake Tester. If you like unicorns, cakes and sweet treats, than you’ll love this one. Cake Testers is fun and happy and super sweet in so many ways. I used this set to create three tags that I plan to use on birthday gift boxes and bags. A handmade tag can add that extra, personalized touch you don’t get with a typical wrap and bow. This stamp set will be available on Wednesday, April 17 along with many other brand, new sets to be released this month.
I used the following items to create these fun and colorful tags:
- Cake Tester (available on Wednesday, April 17)
- Rainbow die
- Inside Scalloped Circle Dies
- Sprinkles – (available with the April release on April 17) were used in the shaker tag and on top of the large cupcake on two of the tags.
- Inside Scalled Square Dies (used for strips on the back side)
These fun unicorn images are colored using Copic Sketch markers. The “Party Time” tag uses a watercolor background. Images were fussy cut and “popped” up using dimensional foam. Ribbons and a Signo Uni-ball white pen add more interest to each tag, too.
Each tag also has a cute and vibrant background using the extra scraps I had left over from making the tag fronts. Extra rainbow pieces and other bits make the backs almost as cute as the fronts!
