It’s Day 4 of the Honey Bee Stamps 5-year Anniversary Release Sneak Peeks! We’ll be sharing new products all week long followed by a two-day blog hop on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, 2020. I’ll be sharing products on the first day of the blog hop, Saturday, April 18. The new sets will be available to purchase on Friday, April 17 at midnight, EST. (My CT friends – that’s 11:00PM tonight!)
I’m sharing a card using some of today’s sneak peek sets below.
To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut the white cardstock using the cover plate die. I cut the die into two pieces and added a teal band for the word placement. By adding this additional band of color, I was able to stretch this A2 sized die into a 6.75″ long card front design. I added pastel colors (using my small scraps) behind each square opening. I die cut the “friend” script word from a piece of watercolor paper I had on hand. I added a warm gray shadow behind it using the shadow die from the friend die set and adhered to the teal band. The entire design was adhered to a 5″ wide X 7″ tall card base. For extra whimsy, I added a few blossoms and butterflies from the embellishment mix called, Butterfly Kisses sequin mix.
