Hello, Sunshine! Summer’s here and it’s time for a new release by Simon Says Stamp called Send Happiness. It’s filled with lots of fun new products for papercrafting. I’m sharing a few cards today using stamps, dies and a stencil, too. I will also be participating in the Blog Hop Day 2 on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Check back for more on that later! First up… some sweet fairies are ready to sparkle in your garden. My uses the following new products:
Fairytale Spinners stamp set
In the Round stencil
This card features the new Fairytale Spinners stamp set. This is an awesome set because it includes the front and back of the fairy so you can create spinner cards. I’ll be sharing one on my blog during the blog hop. You can always use the one-sided fairies like I am here today. Add their fronts or backs and simply tuck them into the garden. How sweet are they?!
My card is a slime line card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall. Everything was colored with Copics. I fussy cut my fairies, but there is a coordinating die set to go with them, too.
Notice the background. I used a new stencil called In the Round over the blended sky. For colors, I used Ranger Distressed Inks in Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade. After my base sky was blended, I went over it with the stencil and Squeezed Lemonade to make the fun design. I think it is a perfect backdrop to the fairies and garden. Iridescent sequins finish off this card’s look.
