This set has so many perfect phrases for lots of situations. From thinking of you to sympathy, this set offers many fitting possibilities. On My Mind stamp and die set (stamp set only) also offers a beautiful feature floral design that is perfect for adding words to the center of the design. Today, I’m sharing two cards using the On My Mind stamp set.
You’ve Been On My Mind Wreath
My first card features a wreath created by stamping two floral designs and combining them to make a wreath. I used the circular design of the original image to shape the wreath. I popped up the wreath using dimensional tabs. I also added a twine string bow using hemp twine on the upper left side of the wreath.
For the background, I used a ruler and fine-tip black marker to create the horizontal lines. I added shading below each line and additional “aged” marks to make the rustic yellow shiplap background. Tiny nail heads running down both sides add to the rustic and imperfect look of this background.
I used one of my favorite phrases from the set, “You’ve been on my mind” for this card. I stamped it in black using Hero Arts Black Intense ink. This is a 5″ X 7″ card.
Prayers in Lavender
For my second card, I used the floral circular design as intended. I cut it out and layered it over a soft gray cardstock stamped with the same floral design using silver ink. this stamp makes a beautiful floral pattern background!
I used violet colors for the blossoms and yellow-green tones for the leaves. I think the violets are a wonderful choice for a sympathy card. I softened the feature circle by shading it in a light, cool gray using Copics.
To make the circular design stand out a bit more, I added dots of metallic silver pearl pen to the design. Pearl Pen is similar to Nuvo Drops. This card measures 5″ X 7″ in size.
Don’t forget… this On My Mind stamp and die set (stamp set only) is a limited edition set for STAMPtember. It will only be available while supplies last! You can order it here at Simon Says Stamp. You can also shop all the wonderful products of Honey Bee Stamps here! Thanks for stopping by today.
