Hello, Jane’s Doodles fans and friends! I’m sharing a new card using the newest set called, Sky’s the Limit. This set includes one big hot air balloon filled with a cast of cute characters. There’s also a snake, monkey, bird and clouds plus lots of phrases to use with the images. My card measures 5″ X 7″ and is made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I cut the card base and a 5″ X 7″ panel for the card front. To make this card, I stenciled clouds for the background using Tumbled Glass Distressed Ink pad and a cloud Stencil. I also added faux stitches around the perimeter of the card front using a fine-tip, black marker.

For the images, I colored the design using Copic Sketch markers. I used the following colors:

  • Elephant: C5, C3, C1
  • Basket: E59, E57, E55, E50
  • Crocodile and snake: YG67, YG03, YG00
  • Monkey: E44, E43, E50, E52, R00
  • Zebra: C9, C7, C3, C1
  • Birds: Y19, Y15, E55, R14, R22
  • Clouds: B00. BG000
  • Banners: R24, R17, Y18 Y08, YG17, YG03
  • Balloon: YG67, YG17, YG03, B02, B00, B000, R27, R17, R14
  • Shading: W4

The clouds were stamped, fussy cut and adhered over the background. I also attached the balloon focal image using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make it stand out a bit. This is a fun and quick card to make! Thanks for checking it out. 🙂
