Cozy Cottage Star Trio Card

For this slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-12″ tall, I die cut the Star Trio Panel from 80lb Neenah White cardstock. I lose the stitching detail around the stars and perimeter of the panel. I filled each star with a pretty pattern paper from the Slimline Series: Rainbow Brights 4×9 Paper Collection. I kept to a red, white and blue theme for July 4. I love this paper with the stars! This is a really pretty paper pack because not only are there singular color tone-on-tone papers, but also rainbow papers in the collection, too!

Next, I stamped colored and die cut all these sweet porch elements from the Cozy Cottage Porch stamp set. There are so many cute accessories in this set. I absolutely love the porch swing, but I knew that would be too big for my star openings so I chose smaller elements in the set. I placed them inside and outside the stars to mix it up a bit. I also added some bees from a new set called, Best-Tea Party. Aren’t they sweet?! Using a fine-tip black marker, I added black dots for trail lines behind them for more whimsy. I used the following Copic markers to color the images:

Bear and pots: E47, E57, E55, E53, E50
Plants: YG67, YG61, YG03
Mailbox, stool and birdhouse: B45, B41, R17, R14
Lights and bees: E15, E13
Chimes: E47, E44, C7, C5, C3, C1
