Hi there! Today, I’ve got a fun card featuring Purple Onion Designs latest release called, Snow Much Fun. I’m using a cast of characters that are so cute. I love them! I’m using the following stamps from this adorable collection by Shari Bresicani:
Fiona (Bunny sitting)
Feathers and Birdhouse (bird and house)
Snow Much Fun background stamp

My card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink.
This is a fast card. The scene setting stamp in the background does all the work. All I needed to do was add the characters. I colored this scene and all the images using the following Copic markers:
Blues: B000, B00
Purples: BV000, BV00, BV01
Blue-Greens: BG000, BG01
Browns: E43, E43, E44, E47, E50, E53
Red-Violets: RV00, RV02, RV91
Cool Grays: C10, C7, C5
Warm Grays: W4
The ice pond is made from watercolor paints on watercolor paper. I use Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) and Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper to make the pond.
Murray and the snow-capped tree in the foreground were adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make them stand out a bit. Everything else was glued in place in the scene. Lastly, I stamped the phrase at the bottom, cropped the scene and attached it to a pink cardstock card base.
