Hello friends. Happy Friday! I’m bringing some merry and bright in my 5″ X7″ holiday card today featuring two sets by Paperie Ink:
To make this card, I used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the front card panel, the images and the card base. I started by stamping the feature phrase from Giant Holiday stamp set. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries. to stamp the oversized phrase. Next, I stamped, colored and fussy cut out the moose and bird images from Moose Holiday stamp set. I colored them using Copics using the following colors:
- Moose: E47, E44, E43, E42, E50, E53
- Birds: B02, B00, B000, Y38, R14, R24
- Ornaments: YG67, YG03, YG00, R9, R29, R17, R14, C3, C1, R83, R81, RV002
- Shading on all: C3, C1
I attached the moose using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares. I added shading below each animal and the featured phrase. Lastly, I used a ruler and a hot pink marker to create the faux stitch lines around the card’s perimeter. The card panel was attached to the A7 card base to finish.
