Welcome to day one of sneak peeks for the new release by Honey Bee Stamps called, Modern Spring. Today, I’m sharing several cards featuring some of the new products. These products (and my links below) will be available on 2/22 to order!

The featured projects below are made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panels. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use the Bee Creative Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink Pad for all heat embossing and Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together.

Bloom With Happiness Card

My first 5″ X 7″ card uses the Sweet Spring Mice stamp set and coordinating die set along with the new Bitty Buzzwords Bloom stamp set and coordinating die set.

I also used the Delicate Doily Stencil set for the background from the previous release. To create the background, I used Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink with the stencil and then splattered teal waterdrops over it. I added gingham pattern strips from the Back to Basics 6″ X 6″ paper pad at the top and bottom for more fun contrast.

To color this adorable mouse and pail image, I used the following colors:

Mouse: W3, W2, W1, R00, R01
Pail: BG72, BG70, YR27, YR24, Y21, B000
Flowers: R17, R14, R22, Y26, Y21, Vo6, V04, YG67, YG03, YG00

The scripted Bloom and mouse image were attached using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to make them stand out. The supporting phrases were heat embossed using White Opaque Embossing Powder.

Big Smile Card

This sweet card is also an A7-sized, 5″ X 7″ card. All of the images you see from the Sweet Spring Mice stamp set and coordinating die set were stamped and colored using the following colors:

Mouse: W3, W2, W1, R01, R00
Strawberries: YG67, YG23, YG04, YG00 R89, R37, R29, R24, R22, R17, R14, YG01, YG00, and a white ink gel pen
Daisies: Y19, Y17
Pot: YG67, YG63, YG23, YG04, Yg01

I used a gingham pattern paper from the Summer Stems 6″ X 6″ paper pad for the lower half of the card.

I used the Smile Buzzword stamp set and coordinating die set to create the phrase at the top using black for the shadow and and pink and red for the top layers.

All of the images were attached using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. Some of the forefront images were attached using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to make them stand out from the rest.

Well Wishes Card

For my last sneak peek, 5″ X 7″ card, I used Gingham Galore Spring 6″ X 6″ paper pad for the background. I stamped four birdhouses and stands from the Little Birdies stamp set and coordinating die set and colored them in using matching shades of pink, blue and yellow.

I also stamped and colored one of the the cute mice from Sweet Spring Mice stamp set and coordinating die set and set him on top of one of the birdhouses. I added extra falling dandelion petals from the dandelion, too.

I attached three words/phrases to the front from the Get Well Soon stamp set and coordinating die set and attached them using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white.
